user help - notifications and messages
 

not sure if this is the right place to ask

my "Your Notifications ; Unread Visitor Messages" says "3", however, I went clicking on everything related to messages in the user control panel and couldn't find any new messages, and the only visitor message I have that I can see very clearly is very very old and never issued a notification.

any ideas what to try?

Mine too. But I have 2 "Unread Visitor Messages". When I go to look at them, there is nothing there to read..

I had that "error" as well. I cleared them though the CP I believe. Can't seem to find it now.

there's a "Visitor Messages" panel. I saw one, the notifications were up to three. I selected the single message with the X, clicked delete, the system deleted it, I didn't see the message and the notifications are now down to zero. My work is done here.

Lol, same here, I just try to read em' and if it don't work, I'm Audie 5000.......

I've got the same 2 Notifications with nothing there... I'm just ignoring it.

Same here. I posted a visitor message on my own wall and then selected and deleted it and it cleared the whole list.
