Correct Noid for 1986 944 (normally aspirated)
Have a 944 given to my son 2 years ago. Also have a fully restored '73 911T Coupe plus 12 other cars ranging from a '32 Ford coupe to a 2007 Saab 9-3 and everything in-between. My son seems to be the patron saint of dead cars -- a prof here in Austin gave him an '04 Land Rover D2 with a blown motor that he rebuilt and now drives at college, now he has less interest in the 944).
Now that we're back from nearly a year in London, I am clearing off all the junk the in garage that's accumulated on the 944 and going to try to get it running -- it didn't run when we dragged the carcass to my house. Going to buy a noid light set for FI diagnostics. Any idea what noid style/standard fits the 944 injector harness? I saw an old thread mentioned an EV1 type injector connection but can't find a Noid of that type anywhere. Is it the same as a Bosch PFI? Thanks |

I bought a noid light at the auto parts store. It has two pins and plugs into the injector connectors individually. When the engine is running it shows blinking. Very cheap.
