968 valve cover
Do you guys torque these down, or just tighten them in a criss cross pattern until all seems good? Lots of bolts here!!!!

The torque spec is so low (and they have a shoulder) that I just let them bottom out and go "wrist tight".
All they do is hold the cover on and squish the gasket - nothing critical. No need to do star pattern either, but do get them threaded down evenly before giving the final little "twist". |
