Valve Cover Questio...16 Valve Motor

OK, I ordered my new bolts. 9 long and 4 short. The short ones are back ordered, but no big deal. I almost have this thing back together, but something ain't right. In the middle of the cover, to the right of the sensor plug, is a hole. Down inside it's threaded. What bolt or ?? goes in here? It's not a long bolt. The 4 short ones go on the ends of the cover. And I don't have any stuff left over. What did I screw up? Please don't make me feel REAL stupid when I get the answer.

No....I replaced those bolts as they were soft, too. I'll go back down and check it out. I was tired yesterday, and after a few beers maybe I wasn't thinking correctly. Nice looking motor BTW!

Right now it's not a major concern. I have a dripping/leaking PS line, and it looks like the alternator is going to have to come out. I just cant get a grab on the screws that hold in the Voltage Regulator, and if I have to remove it, I'm putting in a new one (It looks like a fun project just getting in there!). Hopefully that will fix the drain on the battery.

Looks like a standard valve cover bolt. I'll look again. Maybe something is broken off in there. There's sooooo much broken ***** on this car it's amazing!
