87 944S, what DME?
My 16 valve engine is shot, yep, the No. 2 rod. Was going to rebuild and a friend of mine who used to club race 944's offered me a fully rebuilt 8v engine--for free. So am looking now for needed DME, engine harness, etc. Any help appreciated! Have a 16v DME I would trade!

don't do it. instead PM Pelican User "Timmay!" or call his number listed on this website: http://comeauracing.com/cre2016/ he has a spare 944S engine on a stand in his shop available for sale. he might even take that rebuilt engine as trade... ..and if you were to make the trip i might have a use for your "old engine". |

I can also change pistons out and use the new engine with my 16v head......old engine will need a crank (have one) and a rod along with lower end rebuild.
