Motul or Mobil 1 for 924s, is there a difference?
Approaching my next oil change soon some new questions come to mind. I've been using Mobil 1 for ever but the shop I work at now swears by the Motul stuff. The question is, for a 1988 Porsche 924 would it run better with Motul or Mobil 1 and what is the difference?

If you can buy Motul at Walmart, then use it...
Otherwise, take advantage of walmarts Mobil 1 pricing of $25 for five quarts for top notch synthetic protecting. Plus, Mobil 1 have a rebate for even more savings... https://mobiloil.com/en/promotion/mobil-promotions Do it yourself for even more savings!!!

I have been using Mobil One for 30 years. After reading about the benefits of zinc for cams and tappets I have decided to start adding a bit (half bottle) of STP to add a bit of zinc in my S2. The remaining STP I mix 50-50 with Mobil One for topping off the oil level as needed until the next change.
