Wanted Door Sill / Threshold

Does anyone have a source or know where to get a set of these?

If you do please post a response or send me a PM.

I have some on my car that are fiberglass and they have some road damage I'd like a source on new ones aswell if itbexists. If not it looks like an easy piece to fabricate out of aheetmetal with a brake

Those metal ones are aftermarket and the company that made them went out of business years ago. NLA and very rare to find them today.

OP please send me all the measurements you can take on those metal ones, including the thickness of the steel.

everyone else - if i fab up some of these is there a market for them? what kind of price will they go for? i'm going to look into sheet stock, a buddy of mine has a $1200 brake that could do those bends nicely i think

I'd be interested in a set if the price was reasonable.

May never see another metal one - so why not get the dimensions off the OEM Porsche plastic door sills and make them from there...That's the part that goes on the door sills and holds down the carpet edges...

I'll PM the guy who bought them and also the guy who sold them and ask them to give me a sense of the thickness of the metal.

Scott

PS - I'm in for a pair if you make them....I bet if the price is right (around $100) you would sell quite a few on here and over at Rennlist....

Look this guy up on ebay: sales4pnparts. He makes beautiful stainless sill guards with Porsche crests in enameled color on them. They make them for the 944 and they cover more of the ledges that really need protecting. I put a set in mine and they're beautiful. They weren't that much money and well worth the cost. If you pull up "Porsche door sills" and open his store on the right. Send him a message and ask for the 944 models.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

two different threads on Rennlist forum that note this item and seller. They're a great addition to your car. Very Classy.

Those thresholds are quite different - look at the black molded plastic thresholds that are on your car just inside of the chrome ones - those other ones are the ones that are being looked for, the black ones, but made of metal.
