The S has what's known as a "harmonic balancer" and 30yo used ones are likely to be worn and ineffective. Get a new factory one if you can find one or there are a couple of improved aftermarket ones out there, check rsbarn.com.

yea, finding it hard to find, and appears only a few left in Germany.
does anyone know the consequences/impact of installing non-damper version?

It must do a good job of dynamically balancing the rotating mass as with a regular pulley there has been more nvh reported. Could also prevent harmonics causing early oil pick-up tube, fuel rail or other mechanical failures. I doubt Porsche would have spend time to develop and manufacture such an upgrade if it wasn't required.
