As I was looking at seeing how hard it would be to replace my clutch master/slave cylinder on my car (which doesn't look that bad) I decided to clean my K@N and do an inspection of my intake boot. WELL..........much to my suprise I have oil in there. What could be causing this? Thanks for any advice or information.

It's not a turbo right?? For a turbo it's normal for oil in the intake system due to oil coming from the turbo, but if you own a NA, there is nothing between the intake itself to the throttle body that can leak oil... or is there? Are you sure it's motoroil and not something else?

I"m pretty sure it's motor oil. I'm going to change my oil cooler seals and pressure relief valve and get my oil level back to normal (extremely high, I guess due to coolant in it) And clean the oil out and maybe it'll fix it. Hopefully anyway. I'll check again to see what it is. I'm also changing clutch master/slave cylinder in it, but I guess that has nothing to do with the intake boot.

other problems?
Does the car have any other problems that it exhibits? I am thinking that if timing was off some and the valve seals were leaking you might see oil in the intake boot....But that is just my 2 rubles.

Well, now that you mention that. After the car set for a while and I finally got to drive it. It would smoke when you first started it and under full throttle. My dad said it was probably my valve seals leaking alittle. And I had a cam housing gasket put on about a month before I left for college, so it could have been alittle out of time and I wouldn't of noticed, because I didn't drive the car much. I talked to a guy at Vertex Auto today about my "milkshake coolant" and he said it was probably my head gasket leaking. So, since I'm adding to my "to order list" and while I've got the head off, I guess I could have my mechanic look the valves over. If there is anything else that you could think of that I could replace while I've got the car torn down, please tell me. Thanks for your info.

I would check the oil cooler first.
Always start with the easy things first. as it may only be a 20 cent part.(OK $20 part) I once restored an old 1959 Holden (GM) which had water in the oil (big time) so I replaced the head gasket had the head milled BIG DOLLARS. While I was cleaning up the block I noticed that it had an internal welch plug (expansion plug) which had gone cost $2.20 including tax. Could have saved alot of time and money, if I had checked the small things first.
