1979 924 - distributor pickup
I'm trying to rebuild my electronic ignition distributor. I've got it partially disassembled, but can't pull the electronic pickup up and out. It seems to be hung up on the vacuum advance arm. I've pulled out the two snap rings so it moves freely on the shaft. I know there's something wrong as I found a piece of spring lying around in there. I also read with interest, about the grease getting old and causing things to stick. Any advice? Thx

Hi Dmitry
I don't need to know how to troubleshoot my ignition, just how to get the pickup ring out of the distributor. Thx |
