Fuel system conversion
Is there anything out there for the 1982 924 that gives you an electronic fuel injection system? I love my car but I have to many problems with the original system. I don't want to mess with originality but if it runs better I may do it.

No, nothing available. The original CIS system is fairly reliable, but prone to mechanical problem, as well as a diminished availability of parts.
You could always drop an LS1 into it. Would need better brakes, though...

A basic standalone would be fine for a 924. You would just have to make or adapt fuel rails due to the nature of the existing CIS. I think certain Ford Focus rails are basically close enough. Alternatively, some people have done something called FrankenCIS or something which uses a Megasquirt to control CIS, which is sort of electronic mechanical injection. If it were me I would just do it using all EFI stuff and use the distributor pickup as a tach signal. Pretty easy.
