Hello,
The lock and/or door handle on my 944 freezes up. The drivers side seems worse than the passenger. I don't like driving around holding the door shut or worrying about the door being open while at work. Anyone got any quick fixes? I considered removing the inside panel and putting vaseline on the linkages or spraying them with WD 40. Any other suggestions? |

I would spray the hell out of it with wd-40 if you can.....
Once she is cleaned out a little....put the graphite in the lock mechanism...and she should be as good as new.

I have heard its caused by the cam inside the handle wearing out. I have also heard he only fix is to replace the handle.
