How do I install the intake manifold
Title says it all.
I'm in the final hours of my timing belt rebuild and I have no clue on how to re-install the intake manifold. I could use some advice on how everything gets put back together, clarks garage lets me know about the vacuum lines but I really am lost with where this pump/regulator thing mounts to. Any help or something to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks! ![]() ![]() |

that is the idle valve, in the first picture about an inch or two to the right there is a brown rusted bracket next to #3 spark plug...that is where the idle valve attaches.
there should be some "rubber bonded buffers" basically a tiny rubber cylinder with an M6 stud sticking out both ends. |

The 4 intake manifold gaskets....
The gasket in the front of the car by the radiator installs opposite of the back 3. Watch how the notch on the gasket is installed by looking at the intake manifold where it attaches top the head. Check for cracks in every inch of hose under the intake. Do not repair---replace (or repeat later). J_AZ
