Sport seat upholtery
I have a complete early seat, and a passenger sport bottom, but the passenger seat back is the regular seat. All need covering a d am looking at sport seat upholstery kits. Anyone know what the figment would look like if I just packed the passenger seat bolsters with foam? Are the head rests are different with the early SS and early bucket seats? My seat really need new covers and am losing foam slowly at the drivers bolster. How hard is it to dye vinyl? Can you use leather dye, or will I have to use a spray, which will probally wear off on clothes?

An early sport seat cover won't fit an early standard seat at all, even if you built up the backrest bolsters. The early standard backrest foam is one piece, the sport seat is two pieces and the center piece size is much different. Also the early SS has large support bars welded of the frame to support the larger bolsters.
