Take the cover off the bottom and reach up with a long thin lever and trip the latch from the bottom. It's tricky but it can be done.

If the cable broke at the lever in the car you can use some vicegrips on the cable and pull real hard.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Okay i'll try taking the cover off and see how it goes. The cable is broke somewhere under the hood, I already checked to see if I could use vice grips inside the car and i can't, thanks a lot

Take note of where the cable routs as you prepare to replace it.

Many reroute it so it hangs up on the head light mechanism which in turn will cause the hood to open when the lights are turned on.

Not much fun when your are doing 65mph!
