Newbie Needs southern Ca 944 mechanic recommendation
Hello
I need to get my new 87 944s back on the road. I can't afford stealership prices so I was hoping somebody knew somebody that was reasonable to get my car running again. I drove it home no problems then next day it wouldn't start! I have replaced the starter but it does the same thing. uuuurg then stops, wont crank over like it if gets stuck, battery was replaced as well. i am at my wits end. any thoughts? Oh, wow - that sounds like a nice matchup. There is no substitute for someone with strong familiarity with a particular model. On a 30 year old vehicle, most/any mechanic you engage will begin by replacing parts on a standardized diagnostic tree of parts. Here, you may find someone who's seen this same issue dozens of times. Bravo.
