Beefed up drive train
What can you do to make a 944 n/a handle more power all the from the clutch down to the tires? are there any parts on the 944 that are stronger than the 951 and what 951 parts will swap over?

If I remember correctly the 951 tranny is built better, but is geared longer. The tranny is a direct swap.

If I am not mistaken (correct me if I am wrong please) the 951 had a closer range transmission than the n/a so the gears would be shorter for great torque multiplication. From what I have heard you are right, they are built better and stronger. I hear the best tranny you can get is the one in the 944S model. Again I am not 100% sure about any of this. Just stuff I have read on web pages etc etc

so we are both right on this in a way. it's a close ratio but higher up in the gear to make the gear longer. I hope that jsut came out right. hahha
