Parking Brake Issues on the 968

If it's not one thing, it's another. I just got a pile of items taken off of the To Do list on the 968 when another one popped up. As I was parking it back in the garage, the plastic button broke, and I got hit in the back of the leg with pieces of it, and the spring from inside the lever. Any recommendations for a rebuild kit for the internals, or a place to order a new (or new to me) lever that will last a little while?

Thanks!

...or replace that plastic part with a billet aluminum one from Only 944.

I dream of a old school break away 914 handle....but, when they do pop up, it is stupid money even to experiment with...
