electric problem

I have a 1988 924S. When I turn on the turn signal the temperature guage moves back and forth with the blink of the turn signal. This is not really causing any problems at this time but I woud like to fix it so it doesn" cause problems later. Any ideas what could cause this? I have cleaned every ground on the car except the ones under the dash because I don't know where they are. I have searched several old forums but photobucket has removed all the pictures in them that show the ground location. Thanks.

It could be the instrument cluster ground or the light grounds too. There are grounds in the hatch and frame area for the lights, and above the drivers side footwell side panel for the electronics.

Mine is an 87 924S, so if it is the same as mine, pull back the carpet behind the fuse panel, and you will see a major ground cluster in the most "accessibly challenged" location. I actually removed my seat so I could get at it in the most comfortable way as possible.

Why they did not put it on the firewall behind the instrument cluster is beyond me...
