WANTED: Weltmeister 30mm Solid Torsion Bar Set

Looking for a brand-new set of Weltmeister 30mm solid torsion bars.

1987 Porsche 944 S

Maybe my Google skills suck, but i can't find them anywhere?

Thanks,
James

P.S. yes they must be brand new Weltmeisters. i'm building a Gravel-spec Rally car, so i need the best of the best.

Idk if Weltmeister is that much better/different than Sway-Away, but Pelican has those in 30mm solid. I realize your application is unique. Paragon has Welt bars, but seems they only carry hollows 30mm - 34mm.

I saw that Sway-Away was considered to be a good brand. Even saw an argument saying they come out of the same factory as the Welts. But that same argument also included pictures of a broken Sway-Away bar.... confusing...

Do you know if the Sway-Away is made the same as the Welts? I think the Welts are forged, center-ground and heat-treated... Not 100% on that, though... ???

It'll cost me $1100 labor to have the new bars installed (i'm not skilled enough to do myself), so, i really don't want to buy the wrong ones and have them snap on me.

Thanks for your advice/insights!!!

I've had Sway Away 30mm bars in my race car for the past 5 years - zero issues.

how hard do you race her? like, on a legit race track? 944spec? do you ever hit the rumble strips or pop over "kurbs"?

***sorry for all the questions, just trying to protect myself from a broken torsion bar nightmare.

I have these bars I took off my car. They are very easy to install.

Installation takes patience, particularly re-indexing. I only had to re-index once fortunately. But there certainly isn't anything technically difficult about it.

If they are red then they are sway-a-way I believe. How much?
