Porsche Crest '87 944 - Cheap - get it out of my garage please

'87 944 many parts gone but loads still left. Great race car potential.

$500 and you pick up!

What does that get you?:
Great unibody (no wrecks)
Engine!
complete doors
hood
rear hatch/window
torque tube
sunroof
and lots of other stuff that is too small to list here

What is not there?:
front bumper
front fenders
interior is all gone
tranny gone (torque tube still there)
Rear end gone
front spindles/brakes gone

I am sure the local Porsche dismantler would easily pick it up for this price, but I would rather have someone take it that can use it. Again this is great for a race car.

Wife says she wants to park in the garage again... I cannot blame her.

I have some pictures I can send as well to give an overview.

Please shoot me an e-mail at: apillow@hotmail.com

Thanks,

Marietta (Atlanta) GA.

The engine is claimed good, but I have not had it cranked up at all. I bought the car from a mechanic who replaced all the belts and gave it a general tune-up. His intentions were to race it, but the tranny blew and he lost interest and sold it to me. From what I can tell the motor should be in good shape.

Thanks,

$500.

Essentially buy an engine and get the rest of the car as a freebie

Gotta go! Gotta go!

Bumpity bump bump (don't you hate that)

Open to trades for 914 carbs and VW hi-perf T1 motor parts. Maybe even late 944 offset wheels!

... Eager for it to leave so the wife can park in the garage and she quits nagging at me

Adrian Do you still have the car. I picked up another car to part out and have all the stuff needed to put that 87 back together. Maybe we could work out a trade. I'm currently parting out a 86 951

Any pics of what's left would be great. Email me please at bwarner@ufl.edu. Looking for a parts car for me, my friend, and brother. All of us have 944's.
