Wheel Swap?

My 1991 944 S2 has the chrome 16-inch 928 S4 wheels, commonly referred to as garbage can lids. They're in excellent condition. It doesn't appear that wheel weights have ever been hung on the outside lip of the wheels, and there's no curb rash. Painted center caps.

I am looking to change to Porsche 17" turbo twist wheels in excellent condition. If anybody is interested in swapping or buying my wheels outright, let me know. There could be some cash involved in a swap, so a straight swap isn't necessarily what I am looking for.

My wheels currently have Dunlop SP 8000s with pretty good tread (about 75%). I can e-mail good quality digital pics so you can see what I've got. I would prefer to get some decent rubber on the 17s so I don't have to run out and buy tires right away.

The fronts are 7" wide. Rear are 8" wide.

Edited post: I pulled the wheels and the stamped sizes are as shown above. They measured wider.

The P/N for the rear is 928.362.117.00.; I believe the P/N for the front is 944.362.115.00.

I'm thinking the rear rubber is a somewhere between 50 and 75%.

Porsche Crest

We have a set of these on our 924S, and they do look sweet on it BTW, they are forged, like Fuchs and951S wheels, much stronger than phone dials and other cast wheels!!!
