1986 944 Turbo 7 and 8 inch rims

I have a set of front 7" rims and a set of 8" rear phone dials. They are cosmetically in good shape. One has a small falt spot on it on the inner side of the rim. It never affected they way they drove. I hope that these will go to someone who enjoys them and maybe would have them refinished. I can get them refinished and perfectly straightened for $59 each if you want the details They are in pretty good shape. I can get additional pictures of them as well if you need to see them.

Is $395 fair? Shipping should'nt be too much in the U.S. via ground.

Thanks,

Jeff

when you say 7" and 8", are they 7jx15 & 8jx15, or 7jx16 & 8jx16. also what is the offset and tire size if any.

thanks!

Sorry they are 16" rims. They are the 1987 offset.

Thanks!

Jeff:
I am interested in the Phone Dial wheels you have listed on Pelican Parts. Can you confirm that they have 52.3 offset, and are from a 1987 944na? Can you send me some pictures, especially of the damaged wheels flat spot. Center caps?
I am looking to replace my existing 15" Phone Dials.

Thanks,
Phil Noble

Hi Phil,

They are off a 951. The rears are clearly marked 8JX16 52.3mm. The fronts aren't marked with offset, just size 7JX16.

I don't know the differences between the 1987 944 and the 951 that I have.

Thanks

Jeff:
Let me see if I can find the offset from a 951. An 87 944 has the same offset as the 88 944, but I am not sure about an 87 951. I will get back to you. Can you send pictures of the flat spot on the front rim?

Thanks,
Phil
