I have a good one off of a 83. No bent valves and good shape. You would probley want to take it and have it serviced. It has been sitting on the shelf for awhile now.

Thanks

sounds like a plan. i am going to have the cam tower off tomorrow and check the valves. i may still do a compression check just to make sure. i figure, with the cam tower off, all valves are closed. a compression check is a piece of cake with no chance for further damage. however, if it is obvious that a valve is low/bent, this will be obviated. what is your telephone number? mine is 801 554 9309, salt lake city ut. you can call me anytime tomorrow after 3.30 PM.

thanks,

darell
