Porsche Crest WTB 225/50 15" Race Compound Tires

I'm looking for a more economical alternative to the Hoosiers that are on the '83 944 A/X car I just bought. Looking to do some A/X plus DE and maybe TT later this year. Considering Kumhos; open to input from the more experienced.

Some Hoosiers....

Have a set of four new Hoosiers that have not been tracked.
Two have never been mounted and two mounted and driven around the block to check for fender clearances, so essentially new.
The sizes are 225/55-15 and many of the guys running the 944s in NASA are using them. Asking $600 for the set as I've gone up to 17s now and no use for them. Needed a wider foot print with a low profile so went from 8X15" to 9.5X17" wheels.

Thanks for considering...

And your location is where??

Tobias,

Thanks for your reply. For now, I don't think I'm going to run Hoosiers B/C of their fast wear and my inexperience. But, just out of curiousity are your's AS or RS (Auto Cross or Racing) tires?

Semper fi,
Hank

Sorry, forgot to mention that they are racing, not auto-X tires.
Thanks for reminding me...
