WTB stock exhaust from manifold back

I am looking for a stock exhaust in good shape for my 83 944. It is okay if the cat doesn't cat convert and the muffler doesn't muffle but the pipes need to be dent free and the tip needs to be in good shape. Local pick up is very much desired as I am not sure how much it costs to ship a whole exhaust.

I took the exhaust off my 83 parts car last night whole and in great shape. The tip is discolored, but not dented. It breaks at the center leaving 2 sections about 5.5-6feet long. FedEx ground will ship it, but I don't know what it would cost. You can have it for $30+shipping.

Patrick, I was checking rates for shipment but I need some more info. Do you have the weight of the exhaust and is you zip code between 30901 and 30999?

The exhaust system is what I am looking for. I am wanting to purchase it but waiting on weights and zip to calculate shipping costs.

earlr85944 is there a particular component you need off the exhaust or do you need the whole thing? You can have the cat if you need one.
I will be removing the cat and cutting open the muffler to make it a straight pipe. I will then weld it back up so it appears stock. One option I am going to explore while I am in the muffler is to install a bypass valve in the muffler which I can switch from straight pipe or reroute the exhaust to go through fiberglass batting to quiet it down. I want the switch over to be accomplished by flicking a lever on the back of the muffler where it is out of sight. If I am feeling naughty I flick it to straight pipe, if I am feeling like a model citizen I flick it to muffled. It should be a fun project.

I am having a hard time navigating the FedEx website to get a quote. When I was checking yesturday it was showing $15. Today it was $77. Could you check the rates and let me know what the shipping charges would be. my zip code is 53536. I am willing to wait the 5 shipping days to save on shipping. So FedEx home delivery or FedEx ground would be fine.
