FS: 87 944S for parts or whole car?
Silver 944S 16 valve complete car. Insurance company has totalled it- so title will come back salvage in California. Otherwise it still runs- but radiator and front core support are wasted. Lots of great parts including one week old clutch package. Nice Momo steering wheel, cd stereo. Black leather interior- driver seat worn in a couple places. Inspection invited at our shop in North Hollywood. Offers to info@tremotorsports.com
Thanks dave ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Would sell the entire motor package for $1500 (the cylinder head alone is bringing 750-1000 from the wrecking yards!). The transmission package with the less than 200 mile old spring center clutch pack will be $1100. As you may know the S has a shorter ring/pinion combo so your regular 944 or turbo will accelerate harder if installed

hello there, when you say accelerate harder, do you mean better acceleration, or do you mean more difficult in acceleration?
i thought th S had the same gearing as the NA just with a stronger r/p........just want to make sure before i get into anything.......thanks again....

no- the S had a higher numerical ratio- hence lower gear set - than the n/a and turbo 944, which means you will accelerate faster thru the rpm range= faster car
btw- we'll sell the entire car package for $1750 so we don't have to take it apart thanks

the momo wheel went back to the car's owner- sorry
OK- it looks like we may have a sale for the cylinder head only IF i can sell off some more parts to make it worthwhile. any takers for the trans, lamps, wheels, less than 200 mile old clutch pack with flywheel, etc etc? thanks dave

How much for the wheels? Are they standard 7x15's? Are they all straight?

Wheels are 7 x 15 and are straight. one has the slightest scratch along the edge. Another has one a little deeper on the edge. They have suffered the car wash syndrome and we recommend repaint. These are pretty popular with the racers- they lower the effective gear ratio and let the car accelerate harder.
Price is $250 for all four w/o shipping

Are these door panels the same as the 85.5 944? If so, what condition are they in and do you still have them, and how much???
How about the sunroof interior panel cover? Please let me know, very interested. |
