FS: 944 Part-out, initial feel-out

I have an 83 944 which I am looking to part out. It is located in Cental New Jersey ... I'd rather get rid of this thing as a whole, but I just don't have the time to fix the car!

It ran perfectly when I shut her down to replace the timing belt -- while I was in there I was going to do the normal R&R: water pump, front end seals, etc. and I have all those parts new (From Pelican, nonetheless!) in a box still. Motorcycles took over my life after that non-incident.

So, please, let me know what you are thinking -- parts, whole car, etc ... gotta pick up the car, I'll ship parts as possible. If there's enough interest, I'll try to get a list up, but this is a complete car with many new parts, but some old ... many performance parts that I will sell for nice prices.

Thanks!

Ok, this is what the car has:

Cookie Cutter Wheels
Phone Dials
944 Turbo Sway bars front and rear
86 ECU & MAF w/chip
Stable Energies Trianguled Strut Tower brace
Bilstein HD Shocks
ANSA Exhaust
MSDS Headers
MSDS Cone filter
new wiper motor
new shift linkage

Seat middle fabric is a little dried out from the sun and ripped when I got in it, the outer parts are fine. I have pics of everything if you'd like to see them.

Also comes w/ a 1 new front radiator hose, new water pump, front end seal kit, timing belt and balance belt.

The car ran up until I "put it on blocks" to do the water pump and belt, drained the coolant so I haven't started it, but it ran strong. The brown odo gear broke @ 125k but it's got around 135-140k miles on it.

I was thinking $2k for it. Make me an offer. Obviously, it needs to be picked up. If I get enough responses for parts, I'll part it out, if not, I'm seeling the whole thing as one unit.

Thanks.

I didn't realize anyone made a triangulated strut brace for the 944? Even stable energies doesn't seem to list it on their page. Any info/pics?

Not sure on if I'm parting it out yet, still feeling the market and I'm going to put it in Porscheforus for local offerings ... that said ...

The Triangulared sway bar is just what it says, I'll see if I have a pic -- it's adjustabled and the triangulations are removable ... I used to remove them so I wouldn't be put into the PCA "Improved class", but after a while, they didn't seem to mind me running in the "standard class" anyway.

I post up some pictures of the whole shebang later on tonight.

I can't recall when the clutch was replaced ... it's been a danm, long time! I'll look through the service records ...

Would be interested in your radiator if you part it out and it's a 5 speed provided it's in good shape and can hold pressure. Let me know. Thanks!
