looking to buy hood holder arms...???wut are they called?

anyway, i dont know wut they are called . but basically when i pop my hood it stays up for a second then comes down because those 2 arms on the side are obviously worn out or broken..what are they called? cant think of it. so yea, if anyone has 2 of those in good working order i would be more than happy to purchase them if they are for a reasonabe price or else i will just get em new. they are for a 1986 porsche 944 turbo. let me know thru here or email me at goatee53@hotmail.com.; thanks alot.

Hood shocks.

I would just buy them new, they arent that expensive (under $100 for the pair).

Just take care to not crack the windshield when installing them!

alright thanks. if anyone haas some good used ones i would still be interested. let me know.. those phone dials are for sale by the way with the rubber which is in good shape. lots of tread left. if interested goatee53@hotmail.com

i found a pair of hood shocks on ebay for $35 incl. shipping new. Took a few weeks to find them at the right price. In the meantime I just kept a 6" piece of broomhandle in the car incase I had to get under the hood
