Parting 91 944 S2

I’m parting a 91 944 S2, white on black with 212k miles, non MO30, with some left front damage and right rear damage, salvaged due to flood. I originally picked up the S2 with hopes it would be a good donor my 951 turbo engine. There’s enough body damage and rust that I’ve decided to part it out.

The S2 was in a fresh water flood just deep enough to damage the DME computer. There is absolutely NO evidence of water in the engine or transmission. The S2 will not start due to the bad DME. The engine does turn over freely by hand and appears to be well taken care of (syn oil, proper filters, plugs, etc). Timing belt is good and everything spins as it should. Suspension, brakes, transmission, a-arms all ok. Left fender, bumper cover, header panel, headlight covers (mechanisms ok) damaged, all else is ok.

Most everything is still available. PM or email me at 944parts@tuc1138.com for inquires. The car is located in the Denver area. Pictures and a partial parts list can be viewed at www.tuc1138.com/944parts. I will get back to everyone as soon as I can, which may not be until the evening. (kind of hard to get online at work…..)

Thanks,

Chris

The rear spoiler, the one on the hatch, was the first thing to go. Everyone seems to want that 968 wing...

Hah, i am not suprised. I was going to make an inquiry about it...but honestly dont want to know the cost of shipping that thing from Colorado to NYC. Let alone the anticipation that it arrives smashed.

lol, truth be told, it was the first to go and it traveled about 20 ft to my 87 951. Shipping to NY would not be fun. I now know why they are so desirable

Thanks everyone for their PMs and emails. There’s been lots of interest and a few sales. Lots of good stuff left from this 944 S2. A few highlights are:

Aluminum spare
Side skirts (as a R & L set of 4)
Rear valence
Door panels (black - complete)
D-90 wheels (7x16 and 8x16)
Hubs (late offset, same as 87-88 turbo, with ABS ring and sensor)
951 radiator
Brakes
Suspension
A-arms
Flywheel
Clutch housing
Engine (will sell complete or part out)

Thanks,

Chris

I will check this weekend to see just how much headlight equipment I will need and get back to you.

As for the rear valance, I'll take it. Could you give me a shipping quote on that for zip code 68522 just down the platte river in Lincoln, Nebraska please?

Thanks!

Interested in 951 radiator. How much shipped to 33028?
Also, did the S2 come with an external oil cooler?

Please see pics. Not knowing what fails on the S2 exhaust, the pics should say all. Notice the cracks on both sides of the cats. Make an offer if you're interested. Please let me know if the exhaust is bad, I'll have it tossed.

Thanks

Chris
