White 16" Fuchs from 944 turbo

My 86 951 came with the white forged alloy 16" Fuchs option. They haven't been used since 92/93 and have been sitting in a shed for quite some time. Pictures will be posted shortly. They are in excellent shape, with most blemishes being on the center caps. I'm located in Eastern Canada but can ship. Not sure what they are worth but they seem to be on ebay for anywhere between 1500-2500CDN.

No tires included

Please let me know if you are interested. If the price is off, I'd appreciate some feedback.

Thanks

I'm in Montreal, Canada.
I can't trade for an aftermarket set...I am looking to clear up some space and already have an aftermarket set on the car.

If you happen to know of someone selling a 1988-1991 BMW M3 I'd be willing to work out some sort of a trade + cash, but I know that's unlikely.

Thanks,
Mike

You might want to consider posting this over on the 911 boards. I've heard the 911 guys like to use this setup for race wheels on some of the older 911's. Just a suggestion. I'm also curious to see what you sell them for because I have a set on my 1986 944 turbo and I heard they are worth about $2k from a reputable wheel distributer.

Last set I sold on ebay went for $875. I have another set on there ending tonight that the bidding is at $750. I am hoping to get at least $950 - my BIN is $1100.

What I've learned from selling on ebay is you get raped as a seller. As a buyer it is fantastic because from what I've learned is that ebay items usually sell for about 1/2-1/3 the price of a "quality" item from a reputable porsche salvage yard. Call wheel enhancement and find out what the going rate is for those wheels.

Well - it is all in how you look at it Wheel enhancements has a lot of overhead to offset inlcuding advertising and real estate and personel. Not only that but buying from an established company entails less risk and they are able to charge for that.

Ebay in my opinion is great because it is a transparent market that directly connects buyers and sellers with no middlepeople. Not only that but it is fast and when I have some extra parts to unload I get the cash for them sometimes within 7 days of listing the item.

Not sure why I chimmed in with this anyways....
