Im in need of the tranny if the other party doesnt want it, im just getting to the point where mine is ready to come out.

I have just the haynes manual and it only shows the early trans removal. Mine is a 86 and I can only see it bolted to the bell housing.

I have it up on jack stands but at minumal height due to restrictions on repairs done at my place.

Anyway, can you tell me where all the mounts are. I would hate to be on my back underneath it not knowing how its secured.

I have a jack underneath the trans but I dont trust it lol. Thanks

I forgot that I had relisted the transmission on ebay, glad I remembered before I sold it twice. Here is the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320101222220&rd=1,1

As for the mounting points, check on clark's garage forum, it has a step by step removal for this. It is very detailed and much better than what I could tell you.
