wtb: good used sunroof seal, vac canister, other stuff.

hey guys... here's my want list.. what have ya got?

good used sunroof seals... both pieces (part on roof, and part on car)...

the plastic vac canister under the hood, near the battery tray. and little connector that fits over the plastic vac line that goes to it..

working hatch struts

that's all for now... i'm sure i'll add more as i think of it.

wow.. so many cars being parted..
only one reply (thanks ply - i'll keep that in mind)...

come on guys.. help me out... retail prices on things like the sunroof gasket is outrageous. (although the price of staying dry, and not having to wash mildew out of my carpet is tempting..)

I've got both parts of the sunroof from a non leaking '87 944 turbo and I've got a canister from an '89 in my garage if that will work for you. Let me know what little plastic connector you're talking about, I've got lots of those so hopefully I have the right one. PM me and we'll talk.

looks like the body portion of the seal is the same... but the seal on the roof may be different, depending on when your car was made in 86... what month was your car made in?

i'll see if i can find a pic of the connector...

The car is an '87 so I don't think it's going to matter what month it was made in if they made the switch in '86.

no, it's not a T... it's like a sleeve, I think...

if someone can take a pic of the small plastic hose going to the canister, I'll show you...

I need the canister, *and* that little connector. If you dont have the connector, I'll figure out a way to connect it myself.
