Keith,
I have a local lead on the control arm. If that falls through then I'll contact you.

Beware on these control arms, as they look like they are either 968 control arms, or late casting 944's. What this means is that they are NON-REBUILDABLE. You can tell (I think) from the tabs protruding from the middle front of the arms.

I got one just like these, and what Porsche did was to roll the aluminum over the ball joint parts, as opposed to using the retaining clip/epoxy. I checked with Travis at Rennbay and he said that they cannot be rebuilt.

Cheers,

Keith

all my stuff is from an 86 turbo or an 87 NA.. so if that 87 is "late casting" then id go by what keith says and watch out if you plan to rebuild

Thanks,
Keith

Keith,

Look at the bottomside of the ball joints. If they look like the right side in these pictures, then they are non-rebuildable. If they are still good, then fine; just want everyone to know that they cannot be rebuilt.

The one on the right is from a '97 casting and is non-rebuildable. The other one is an '87, and is rebuildable.

And this is what happens when you lower your car too much

Thanks for the reply. I'm waiting to hear from the one who backed into mine. He says he found one for me-but I'm still waiting. I'll let you know. Thanks
