WTB: Sunroof Seal & Heater Parts

Im interested in getting a sunroof seal thats either new or in very good condition. Also Im looking to get the 3 little black clips/clamps that keeps the the heater cables of the heater control switch assembly from moving/sliding.

I have a new sunroof seal on the roof side (not the body) I got for a '87 na -- part number 944.564.114.05. I'm not going to use it, but I don't think it'll work on earlier 944's (different part number according to Pelican Parts store). Lists on Pelican at $115.75 -- will let go at $70.

The heater clips are about a dollar at a dealership. I, or someone else, can dig up a part number if you need it. The ones that clip on the cable to hold it in place, you mean?

I went to 2 dealerships in Torrance and Pasadena and neither one of the guys had a clue. I got the control switch assembly from pelican parts, you would think the clips would come with the assembly. If you can find the part number that'll be cool.

#28 is the clamp that holds the heater cable in place on the heater valve. I think this is the one you mean, if not let me know. This is for an early car, right? Mine had to be shipped from Germany, and it was a week wait and still a little over a dollar for the parts. If your local dealerships won't help, I can order them from mine and ship them to you. With the part number, I dont see why they couldn't or won't get it. Pelican can get most things special order too, just punch the part number in the search bar.

hope that helps.

I ordered those clips and the guy doing the work says these are the clips that support the heater core and not the control switch assembly. I saw the same parts diagram at both dealers but we both did not see any clips with or near the control switch#21. Im freakin confused! Maybe the mechanic doesn't know what he's talking about, but he did show me the only one clip left that was on my broken control switch and its a tad different from the 3 that i ordered..

heater cable connection

Thats my post from a while ago. Socal said they were the same clip, and that is the only one I see in the PET catalog. Maybe they come with the control unit? I'd try the other clips first, then if they don't work, just take brian944turbo up on his offer for a control unit. Can't have to many spare parts.....

My wife says the same thing to me about all the crap I have accumulated over the years. car parts, computer parts, tools, junk, you name it. It's just way to convenient, when your trying to fix something to have a supply of back-up parts available.

speaking of which, I got the spoiler over a week ago and installed it yesterday. Everything's great, and the hardware you included WAS a lifesaver. I meant to email you and tell you.

Yes Brian,
Those are the 3 clips I need. Im surprised that they didn't come with the control switch assembly that I ordered from Pelican Parts. If anyone can hook me up or can find a part # for the clips I would greatly appreciate it. Can't stand this heat!!! I'll PM you Brian

I got the clips and when dropped off for the guy to do the repair, he totally tried to bypass by doing a mickey mouse job without using the clips and now Im getting the heat again, and he can't find the clips. It took the act of Congress from me not trying to re-arrange his face. So if there's anyone else that has those 3 metal clips from a old or broken heater control assembly let me know..
