Barter/Trade my "race" exhaust for your stock setup...

Pictures speak louder than words, so see attached. I have no idea the make or brand of the exhaust. All I know is that it's too friggin loud for me. I've got 2 yound kids and want to go stock or at least something quieter. I just bought the car and it has a new Cat converter that was installed in the beginning of Dec 08 (virtually no miles on it). The rest of the exhaust looks brand new as well. It has a 3" pipe coming off the Cat into the strightpipe muffler and then 3" out as well.
Let me know if you want to trade/swap. My only stipulation is that I'll need a hand installing your exhaust on my car. I've got ramps and a heated garage, but unfortunately, I don't really know what I'm doing. So let me know if you're interested. Located in centeral CT between New Haven and Hartford.
Thanks.
John

I have a complete/good factory n/a exhaust on my '85 which I'd trade you for that but we'll have to work out shipping and each party would need to do their own removal/installation. Interested?

Maybe...
I'd like to wait a few days and see if there's any interest from someone local. If not, maybe we could work somehting out. I'll be in touch.

I am so glad you posted this article (I really am sensitive to your noise problem!!!). I was going to add a beautiful stainless racing muffler that I purchased a year ago for my baby, street 944, and after reading your post about the sound level, I will definitelly NOT do it and will post it for sale soon. I hope you find somebody to do your changeover. I am in Westchester and if needed, will be glad to help out.

GHL Performance Exhaust

OK... I did some research... probably should have done this first before posting...oops.
THe exhaust on my car is a GHL 3 Inch Porsche 944 Cat-Back system w/ single 4" round tip (GHL PN#: 944TM4) and sells for $900 on PP and other sites.
THis thing is nearly brand new, I just don't like the loudness. I'd still like to trade. I realize I'll be taking a hit on this since this thing is worth so much. So if anyone is interested, let me know.
ps - if someone wanted to trade and could at the same time help me bleed my clutch, well then we'd have a win-win situation.

I have one, off a 87, Grey-hound would be the best way to ship.
