Cleaning out garage to make room for winter race car projects. Please PM with any questions and give email address if you want Pics. All prices are plus shipping from Napa, CA 94558.

SHOCKS:

*Bilstein Turbo Cup front Struts, these came as spares with my Turbo Cup car. I had them rebuilt directly by Bilstein and they have never been installed. Valved 600/180. $750/pair.

*Bilstein Turbo Cup rear coil over shocks, including top and bottom spring perches and lock rings. Bilstein part #2798BE559376HO; valved 565/218. Used in excellent condition. $400/pair. SOLD

*Koni rear double adjustable coil over shocks. Used, but unused since tested good by PSI at Sears Point Raceway [dyno sheet available]. These shocks have factory 951 part numbers stamped into them - I think they were from the Escort series days. VERY RARE. $550/pair.

*Koni rear double adjustable aluminum coil over shocks. Spherical mounting ends with trailing arm adaptor bolts. Includes spring perches - top may need a spacer to clear the spring away from the frame rail. Need to be revalved to match your spring rate. Koni #8212-1121 / SPA1-33/95 Hardly used. $450/pair.

*Sachs rear shocks, replacement parts were removed from an 85K mile 944S2. These have Porsche part number tags 951.333.032.07. Appear to function well. $15. SOLD.

SPRINGS:

*968 M030 Rear Barrel Springs. I believe them to be new, never used but paint has some nicks from rolling around in a box. I had them tested at The Racer's Group at Sears Point and they measure 120 lbs./in. $90/pair.

*Eibach Front Springs. Used on a 944 improved touring race car for one season. Some black paint overspray, but otherwise in good condition. Part #1200.250.200 [equals 12" tall X 2.50" ID X 200 lbs/in. $50/pair. SOLD

SWAY BARS:

*Custom rear sway bars - Came installed on my Turbo Cup car that was built by John Milledge in 1990. Can't verify if they are Milledge parts. Tube size is: one at .750" X .100" and one at .750" X .075". Lightweight - 2.25 lbs. and 2.75 lbs. [factory 16mm is 4.5 lbs.]. Custom solid aluminum mounts and spherical attachment ends. $100 for all. SOLD

FRONT CONTROL ARMS:

Factory original arms [951 part numbers] removed from a 110K mile 1990 944S2. Both ball joints are nice and tight on both. $75 ea.

Thanks! John

Turbo S cars should only be using 18mm bars. 16mm was only for the '86 951.

Turbo S cars actually did use a smaller rear sway due to going to larger torsion bars.

944 Turbo S cars built up to around December 1988 had the 18mm rear bars. A rough tell tail is the 18mm rear bar cars have the cooling brake ducts at the front nose/grill, the 16mm cars have no front air ducts - but all Turbo S cars have the aluminum air scoops on the Koni shocks. All Turbo S cars came with 25.5mm torsion bars. Same rough transistion date applies for the change from forged engine connecting rods to cast rods.

Well if you don't learn something every day....

Here is the FSM:

I read somewhere (Clark's?) that the 16mm was used on the '86 Turbo, along with the smaller front sway bar.

Since I got a Turbo S setup from Brian944 that came with the same exact rear sway bar that my stock '88 had on it, I was thinking that all TS'es and '89s had 18mm rears.

Sorry for the mistake
