Sorry dude, only the newer management systems, 85.5 and up . I think SOMEONE makes a chip upgrade for us early car folk though, right? Well, actually they have to solder a chip into your ECU I think.

I'll be looking at this once I get my '84 more buttoned up. Anyone had success with performance computers for the early cars?

I will take, if asked, but does this site allow pics 2 B UL'd?

I do not have other place to UL them where I could link to. I can do email attachments, though.

Can't find them anymore. But it is very easy - far easier than the turbo cars. I will provide installation support if requested (even via telephone).

Along with a K&N air filter and free-flowing cat&muffler, I ran 1/4 mile time of 14.87 seconds.

FRWILK says you can put this chip into the socket on a bmw ecu (1984-87 325e and 528e) then plug it into an early car.

For all of you "early" birds out there - THIS IS YOUR WORM!

All jokes aside, after looking at the chip, I noticed that I did forget to mention that it is model #TC-5700.

Who exactly is "F", anyways?

ATTN WILD MAN!

I have sent payment and you have not replied to either my messages here OR by email. You have been posting on the board yesterday however. Why am I being ignored?

I am sure there is a reasonable explanation so please clear this up withing 24h.

I have not been ignoring you!

I left a PM 2 days ago, and an email today, stating what the problem is.

I case you haven't read them, I will reiterate here: Interac email payments are only collectable by someone who has a canadian bank account. Since I do not live there, I do not have one, and I am therefore unable to collect the funds. I hope that is reasonable enough for you. You must use another method to make the payment.

-Steve

I did get your email. Sorry, didnt get a chance to reply as I got stranded when my clutch went out on me today. Fun times. I will try to sort out alternate payment for you tomorrow. Just fyi, I posted this prior to receiving your email. No stress, just got worried for a day there.

Replacing a clutch is a big PITA (and expense, if turbo). I sure hope I don't have to deal with it anytime soon.

My ebay rating is 100# - neither you, nor anyone else is ever going to get screwed over by me.

If any1 else wants one of these, I know of another one that I'm pretty sure I can get my hands on.
