I have one from a 1984 Porsche 944 for sale. Here is a picture of it. Make me a reasonable offer at litespeeds@hotmail.com.

What do you mean by complete? It has a few screws that hold it down and that's it. Do you need the screws too? I will throw those in. Does the picture look like what you need?

By complete I think he means the bottom part that goes with the armrest on the early cars.

The picture that I posted is the actual part and yes it is complete as you can see from the first picture. I am not just selling the top cover. The part number is in this photo.

I have a complete one for an early car if you want it. I'll post some pics later.

Am I the only one who sees that the item that I am selling is complete and not just the cover?

Litespeed you have the lid and the hinged console part. I believe he needs both of these plus the lower portion of the console that the hinged cassette holder sits in. You don't show that in your picture.

Well, maybe the confusion is mine (as in, they changed with the later consoles and I am not aware of that), but the pic posted above by 924poS of the grey one is the part I need.

Do you see how the lower upholstered part in his pic does not appear in your pic?

What year Porsche 944 do you have? The reason why my picture does not show it is because of the angle that I took the photo. If you take it from top down like I did, you will not see the bottom part on the grey armrest.

I removed this one from my 1983 Porsche 944 parts car so I could put it into my 1991 Porsche 944S2 but it did not fit so that is why I am selling it. It is a complete unit which has the top cover and still conntected to the bottom as shown in the picture with the cover open. All you do is put this complete armrest into that area and screw it down with the couple of screws that you can also see on my picture.

I know there are 2 different types so that is why I even posted a picture of the part number in one of the photos. Just remove yours and check the part number and if it matches, then it is what you are looking for. If not, then good luck in your search and sorry for all this confusion.

Well, like I said, the confusion is likely mine, partly stemming from the fact that I am retrofitting this to a car without an armrest.

Thanks for everyone's patience. . .I am usually only a dumbarse every couple of weeks

Sorry but the one litespeeds has pictured is not complete, it lacks the lower upholstered section (as pointed out previously).
