Completely Rebuilt 944 Turbo Motor

I have a completely rebuilt 944 Turbo motor for sale. Block is from an 87 so it has the auto tensioner. All parts were inspected & cleaned prior to reassembly by a local machine shop. The motor was reassembled by myself as I have rebuilt many 944 motors over the years of my racing.

This is a long block with most accessories. Accessories include K26/6 turbo (very very little shaft play), PS pump, intake manifold, xover, headers, AC compressor, flywheel. Does not include clutch, bell housing, fuel rail or injectors.

New parts include:
- Rebuilt head from Lindsey Stage 1 ($520)
- Main bearings ($210)
- Connecting rod bearings ($80)
- All new gaskets (head, oil pan, etc..) ($300)
- All new seals (front end, RMS, exhaust, turbo, etc..)

This motor should be a plug and play for someone with a tired engine. I am asking $2,000 for the complete motor plus shipping. Please PM me if interested. Pics are below.

The back-story on why the motor was rebuilt and is for sale is below for those interested. A good friend of mine through PCA had a 86 944T. He hired a local mechanic with lots of 944 experience to rebuild the motor on the side. The mechanic tore the engine apart, had all parts sent to the machine shop and then shaded off and left my friend out to dry. My friend decided, rather than rebuild the car he would part it and I offered to do it for him. As a result I rebuilt the motor with everything that had been inspected and cleaned and now have the motor available.
