JIC Cross Coil Over Suspension

Hi,

I have a JIC Cross suspension for a 944 or 944 turbo that I am putting up for sale.

This includes front and rear shocks/struts, Springs, and front Camber Plates. Everything is in great shape and ready to race.

I ran this on a 44CUP race car in NASA Great Lakes region last year.

These are single adjustable in front and non-adjustable in rear. They are very balanced. The spring rate was right for a cup race car and the valving had me right in the middle of the adjustment range at all the tracks I go to.

I am looking for $1450 plus shipping for this setup.

Thanks

Ed

Send a message via AIM to drift a 944
Can you post a few pictures?

Are all the parts made by JIC? I'm mostly curious to see how the rear is set up. Non adjustable coil spring type suspension in the rear you say?

The rear ride height is adjustable, just not for shock rebound. It is still under the car right now. I am waiting for my Penske double adjustable setup to come back from SRP Engineering.

Thanks

There is no doubt of that. In fact, I have my own non sunroof 83 that I have been thinking about.

Ed,

What modifications are required to fit the camber plates to stock chassis?
Do you know how the Cross compares to the Bilstein Cup or Firehawk set up?
Appreciate your time.

Hi,

The camber plates are a bolt up modification. No modifications are neccesary.

I have not driven the Bilstein cup or Firehawk setup, so I can not say. The car was competitive with cars with those and similar setups (including Motons) and from an origial purchase price standpoint, the JIC's outweigh the first two at $3600.

Thanks

Ed

Thanks for the info Ed. Your cross suspension looks good. I'm casually looking for M030 or smiliar suspension, brakes, maybe a complete motor to upgrade my 220hp 1988 951. It's a high mileage car that I am gradually bringing back and upgrading to street/track-day/slalom/show. Thanks again.
