The "used parts" website is selling 29-pin DME.

The late 944 takes a 35-pin DME.

This is incorrect. Early 951's used the 24 pin DME. Later 951's, including the Turbo S'es, used the 28 pin DME's.

The only difference between the .08 (951) DME and .09 DME (Turbo S) is the EPROM chip used.
