How safe is it bolted to the floor, rather than the frame area?

All Autopower cages bolt in to the floor. There are approved by SCCA,NASA,PCA. So in my opinion they are very safe.

While that is true, I have seen them punch through the floor plan, as a matter of fact, there is a thread on here with pix of a Mustang that the cage went through the floor at a track event. Looking at the pictures of your cage though, there are legs kicking forward to a more solid location. Looks like an 8 point cage, very solid...

Looks like a hybrid Bolt-in/Weld-in? So, is that an Autopower cage with custom additions for IMSA Firehawk?
It looks like you added the the custom NASCAR door bars and foot bars, at least.
Was the knee bar and rear cross bar custom too?

Just curious, I already have a cage. looks like a heck of deal to me, either way.

Alright, I'll ask the rookie question. How difficult, ie: expensive, would it be to fit this a stock 944?

I have been slowly removing things and trying to step up to a full cage and ponder the jump to racing from DE's. Any insight you can offer? Anyone is welcome to give their 2 cents worth.
