I have a 1985.5 944 NA transmission with the tall 5th gear, it needs a differential as my 951 demolished it. I would give it to you for $50 plus the price of shipping from 49437.

I've got a tall 5th NA trans with fresh trans fluid.
Kept as a spare, but I don't need it anymore.
I run it once & know it shifts/runs well.

If you are willing to part it out (too far to pick up, and too much shipping for whole thing), I am looking for a tall 5th gear set.
