If this is the same one that was on ebay. Yellow is definately not the original color.

Here again we see that someone sees the symbol "PORSCHE", and immediately there eyes widen there is a "Cha-Ching" going on in their head and the eyes flood with dollar signs ...ROLF

Yellow was not an option on these cars.

Yellow was an option, but a very rare one. There's a guy on Rennlist with a Summer Yellow 951

For $12,500 you can buy a Turbo S, with all the factory goodies....certified or not, that's too much money for a regular turbo

This falls into the "to much information" catagory, but, according to the Porsche factory paint manual, publication number WKD 482620.02 (Aug 1991), the only yellow ever offered on a 944 was Pasadena Yellow (LY1L) in 1983 and 1984 and Lemon Yellow (LM1A) in 1987.

"Porsche factory paint manual, publication number WKD 482620.02 (Aug 1991)"

off on a tangent but, how can these publications be accessed?

That's HP cars...formerly Heimrath Porsche in Toronto Ontario...his name is Mario.

Price's up here are out of whack. You should see what he wanted for a parts car 951 last summer.
