i have, very unhappy with it, spent over 10k on the swap and blew the motor few weeks later, motor was rebuilt and well taken care of, and easy on the engine, rod went threw the block fender and shredded the rim, was doing 79 mph 5500 rpms, still havent figure what cause it to blow

Do you have any pix of your project? And maybe some details?? Like where did you put your master cylinder? Did you fabricate a torque tube adapter? PM me if you can. Thanks.

I can't get to the link on the 968 board but would love to see more on the 928 motor in your 968 !!!

Neat - I don't believe the 928 engine will fit (too wide). I've only seen it done once and it was a car that had been completely reworked with a tube frame (full-on race car). Cool conversion though. But I'd still be leery of revving that to 8k.

Still working on the transplant. We're working on custom engine mounts. The 928 motor is too wide, but will work with some mods. Once the engine is mounted, we will tear apart the motor and rebuild.
