Talking 87 944S engine w/ 8K on rebuild, transmission, flat dish rims

I have two 87 944S engines for sale.
One has about 8K on the rebuilt head. At the time of rebuild this engine had new rollers belts ,1 new camshaft, one used. New and updated cam chain tensioner, new cam chain. head has all new valves, valve guides, seals,springs..the whole kit and kA-boodle.
I do not know the miles on the bottom engine as I purchased the car without records. This engine runs very strong.

I also have an 87 944S engine that I am still using in my current car. I was considering doing the belts and stuff to this engine, or just swapping out this engine for the above mentioned rebuild. I decided that I want to sell them both and try to get a 968 or 944S2 motor. Maybe I am biting off more than I can chew but heck! I am gonna give it a try.

I also have 944S tranny and four 16" flat dish wheels with the polished finish. 52.3 offset. Asking $500 OBO for the tranny and 475 OBO for the set of wheels.

If anyone has a 944S2 or 968 motor for sale please let me know.
Sincerely,
Ross Tyrie (410) 931-9543 or Cell# (410) 960-5438. between 11Am - 11Pm EST on home # and anytime on cell#

How much for the 944s motor. also, could a 944 n/a tranny/clutch handle the 944s power?

Smile 944s engine w944 tranny

Pete the 944 n/a transmission would have no problem handling the slight increase in power. The 944S is not enough stronger to be a factor. I have two 944S engines , i explain the two motors in my first post. I am asking 1900 for the 944S engine that is currently in my daily driver. and 2200 for the engine with 8k on the rebuild.
I have a transsmission available from this car as well. it has a closer gear ration than the n/a transmission. this provide a bit more quickness.
Thanks and let me know if there are any more questions that I can help you with.
Sincerely
Ross T
