do you know if this will fit the 8 valve or 16 valve engines? If so, I'm interested.

Very cheap for a new one. See what a similar pump sells for on E-bay...

Hello bflo320i, I'll buy the Water pump you have listed. Please send Pay Pal address to send you your money in a PM. The one shown in the ebay is not the same water pump as shown here, but is for a 2.7 engine.
Cheers,
Larry

Hi Larry, the point I was making was the price difference. Roughly $1,000 US. Notice I said similar... key word...

Hi smokin_944, Yes, I agree the looks are similar, but that is where it stops. Huge price difference between a Laso and a GMB pump.

GMB premium water pumps are the world standard for new OEM replacement pumps. They cost a little more than other brands.....but their superior performance and longer life make them the best value on the market. We guarantee them against defects in material and workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle!

I don't mind changing out a few pump at GMB cost.

Cheers,
Larry

Larry, I was unaware of their incredible guarantee but we are talking the cost of some 944 cars sold here... $1,000.00 US is a lot of money. If they are that good, why are you bothering with such a lowly pump as a Laso, a German made pump, which is what I use and will continue to use probably til the day I die or til someone shows me the error of my ways?

Hi smokin, Yep, I showed my TRUE COLORS all right. I guess you did not read my last sentence. I don't mind changing out a few pump at GMB cost. I'm a CHEAP Ole Coot and can not afford GMB Costs. Sure wish I could afford to drop $1,200 on a w/pump. I pray that you reach retirement age and see how big a drop in pay you take. I have to jump on any GOOD DEAL that comes along to stretch my retirement pay. My hobbies take a chunk out of it. Retirement is great, but the money sucks. Have a great day smokin.

Cheers,
Larry
