Beware 1987killa944 Is a scam artist!

I paid him for a steering wheel in October, he received the funds and claimed he had shipped. After more than a week I checked back with him at which time he admitted he had not shipped but assured me he would be shipping soon. Still I gave him the benefit of the doubt but now more than 2 weeks after his latest promise to ship, I have not received my steering wheel and he will no longer return my messages. Also he lists a different name on this site from what he lists on paypal. Definitely a thief so watch out folks, he gives sites like this a bad name!

WOW! Thanks for the heads up. I had a deal to send him a payment on the 24th. You saved me almost a couple hundred bucks. Thank-you!

Thank you for the heads up running_cold924 I filed my claim with PayPal but I'm sure he won't respond to that either and I will have to escalate. Did he ever respond to you on PayPal?

I wouldn't even bother waiting for his response, just escalate it immediately.

Someone should post his address so we can see if we can find him locally. There is bound to be a member within a reasonable driving distance.

I would gladly post his address if I knew it, from what I understand he's in Atlanta but who knows if thats even accurate. Probably best that I don't know exactly where he is, I know it's just $37 but it's the principle of it all. I had someone break into my '69 Chevy earlier this week and steal tools and misc. As far as I'm concerned this POS is no different than some crackhead robbing vehicles in the middle of the night.

Yeah I had read all that earlier it sounds like a lot of us got screwed. I'm not quite sure why he is still allowed to post and bump on this site. I did some research and found some phone numbers and addresses for both of the names he goes by, probably both alias's but worth following up on anyhow. I'm sure I'll get my money back from PayPal in the end but I can't just leave it at that. He screwed with the wrong guy this time, I'm like the paperboy on Better Off Dead "I want my 2 dollars!", and to teach this low-life a lesson.

I had contacted him about buying an item but thank god he was too stupid to figure out what I was asking for. I eventually gave up explaining the part in as few/simple words as possible and moved on. He's pretty clueless. Cheating people out of their money via paypal is a very juvenille way to go about being dishonest; it's like the retards guide to stealing from others. Anyway, good luck getting your money back to those dealing with this d-bag.

yes, i was after the "cambox" lol, he had no clue. i was like camshaft, cam housing (the thing that says PORSCHE) and the lifters......duh...should have stopped there.

even dumber to use a paypal account to cheat people.

one of the other posters here is JoshB, and he is from Atlanta, maybe he is close to him.

I supposedly purchased two dash trim pieces and waited four weeks without any delivery. Contacted him by email and he stated he had a problem and that the items were already shipped. I waited another 10 days and then filed a claim with Pay Pal, again after 10 days received a refund through Pay Pal. Was never able to contact him again and never received any thing shipped.

This BS guy should be banned here - I have heard that he is banned on other boards already.

I noticed he was from Atlanta but don't know of him. If someone tracks down an address let me know and I'll see if I can help at all. My local p-car buddies are on the skinny side though - nobody with nicknames like "Hammer" and "Bubba."

Drew, given that you only have four posts and they all appear to be in this thread how did you get in contact with 1987killa944 in the first place anyway?

I saw his post and contacted him thru his e-mail before i even signed up for this site. Just got my car last month and found this site, of course I instantly gravitated to an incredible deal on parts. Should have known better.

the reason he's still allowed to post on here is simple:
nobody reported him to a moderator!

if you want somebody to be banned because they are a scammer, you need to do some simple legwork to help the community:

1) report them to a moderator
2) provide ample, clear, verifiable proof that they are an actual scammer (copies of emails, link to threads, etc.)

that being said, i still can't ban this guy because nobody has reported him, and nobody has provided proof of these scams.

i'm looking forward to your reports and emails.
