Having 2 sets of 24-pin chips might be the reason that no offers are coming though. I think it would do wonders for the advertizement of this product if you could convince possible buyers that 1 of the chips is a 28-pin chip. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had thought of getting some 28 pin chips, but it is hard to justify spending money on this kit. What is sad is that it works very well, it is just not cutting edge any more so it does not get much value. It was stupid expensive when new, but it was better than anything else on the market at the time.

I still have it. I upgraded the turbo/wastegate and decided to try a different mass flow system instead of buying new chips again.

Update on this kit. I am now adding an S Turbo with Jet Hot coated downpipe to the setup. Turbo was freshened up around 50k miles ago, but has some shaft play. You can run it as is, or get it rebuilt. Total asking price is $650 shipped to the lower 48.

Keith,

Did I buy a black 951 from you 10 years ago?

And on topic, did you ever have this setup (including the test pipe) dynoed? Currious the power it would make.

I have never owned/sold a black one, but I did deliver a black one to Ian from Tuscaloosa. Never dynoed the setup. APE claims around 300 HP with stock exhaust. It will make a little more with the test pipe.

Ahh, that was it, I knew your name was familiar (I happen to be that Ian, even if that was many cars and many years ago).

Did you run this setup with stock injectors? Or is this exactly as you ran it on your car?

I was wondering if that was you. So you are back in the 951 fold. Welcome home. You got back in with two of them. You never did do things half way. Was that really 10 years ago?

I ran this setup with the stock injectors, fuel pressure and cycling valve. The banjo bolts are how the boost pressure is increased. I did have a test pipe with the factory muffler on it, but that was it. If you are going from a factory chipped AFM to the MAF with "S" turbo, it will be a dramatic difference. If the car is already chipped, the difference is not huge, but noticeable. The only real weakness with this setup is that if you change turbos, you need a new map on new chips. Autothority has gotten difficult/expensive to deal with on map changes. The systems from Vitesse and Rogue are true MAF, so new chips are not required most of the time when you change turbos. This is mainly why I switched to Vitesse. Sometimes I wish I gone straight to stand alone and skipped APE and VR altogether. It would have cost a little more, but it would be another way to tinker with these cars.

My car is an '87, ocean blue metallic and cancan (red) interior. The color changes a lot with the lighting. Sometimes it looks Navy blue, others silvery blue, and there are even hints of violet at times. I love the color. Have you posted some pictures of your new toys? I will search a bit.
